Hello! I am a passionate computer science professional currently working as a Full Stack Java Developer at Fidelity Investment in the USA. I completed my Master's in Computer Science in Iowa, USA, building on a strong foundation from my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering at United International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Academic Achievements

During my undergraduate studies, I achieved a CGPA of 3.68 (86%) out of 4.00. I was honored with a 100% merit scholarship four times and seven 50% merit scholarships. My academic journey exposed me to various fields such as Mobile Application Development, Software Engineering, advanced database management, pattern Recognition, and Computer Vision and Deep Learning. I actively participated in national and international programming contests, hackathons, and various club activities.

Thesis Project - Driving Change

Concerned about the traffic issues in Bangladesh, I dedicated my final year thesis project to creating an "Adaptive Video-based Vehicle Detection, Classification, Counting, and Speed-measurement System for Real-time Traffic Data Collection." This Computer Vision-based tool, developed in Java, not only earned me the first-author position in a published paper but also won the A2i Innovation Fund of Innov-A-Thon 2018, valued at USD 29K. The prototype is on the verge of implementation in Dhaka city with collaboration from the Prime Minister's office and Dhaka Metropolitan Police Authority.

Mars Rover Project

Before my thesis, I led a team of 13 members as the Lead Software and Communication Engineer in a project involving the implementation of a Mars Rover. Published on IEEE Xplore, this fully functional rover participated in the University Rover Challenge 2017, securing the 30th position among 80 teams. The project enhanced my skills in designing and developing data-driven software for rover control from a distance.

Industry Experience

My professional journey started as a part-time Mobile Development Engineer at ThreatEquation, Singapore, working on Real-Time malware detection and prevention. I then worked at Shohoz Ltd, a ride-sharing platform, and Jeeon LLC as a Full Stack Software Engineer, gaining valuable experience in Agile Methodology and modern application tools and technologies.

EdTech Enthusiast

Beyond my job roles, I am passionate about education technology. As the VP of Software at Edublock.co, I lead a team working on an open-source programming language and STEM robotics tools for children. Our research on "EduBot: An educational robot for underprivileged children" was presented at the International Conference on Automation, Computational, and Technology Management in 2019.

Future Goals

My goal is to enroll in a Computer Science and Engineering program, focusing on software development and management. I aim to contribute my knowledge to innovative projects, conduct research, and explore exciting industrial mysteries. Ultimately, I aspire to contribute to my country's business and technology growth through my EdTech company, benefiting the economy and enhancing the living standards of my fellow citizens.
